Jacob Michael Karr is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago. His work manifests itself in the form of video games, simulations, video and multimedia installations.

Drawing inspiration from [sources of inspiration], Karr's practice investigates themes of [themes like: digital identity, environmental awareness, social connection, etc.]. His process often involves [techniques/approaches] to create immersive experiences that challenge viewers to reconsider their relationship with technology and media.

Karr holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he was a student in their nationally recognized Game Design Program. Currently he is an MFA candidate at the the Paris College of Art in the Transdisciplinary New Media department. His work has been exhibited at the Madison Children's Museum and the Bastille Design Center.
